As few cookies as we can get away with
JuriSeek uses one strictly necessary session cookie when you sign in, cookieless first-party analytics on public pages, and no advertising or cross-site tracking. This page explains exactly what is stored on your device.
Strictly necessary cookies
When you sign in, JuriSeek sets one session cookie (juriseek-session) so the workspace can keep you authenticated. It is essential for the product to function and cannot be disabled while you use your account. The session expires after 7 days or when you sign out.
During sign-in and registration, authentication may also set short-lived anti-forgery (CSRF) cookies that are deleted when the flow completes.
No analytics or tracking cookies
Our public marketing pages collect first-party, cookieless analytics: page views and button clicks, with the referring URL and (if you arrived via a campaign link) the campaign parameters in the URL. These events contain no account identity, no persistent identifier, and never any content from your workspace.
We do not use advertising pixels, cross-site trackers, or third-party analytics scripts.
Local storage (not cookies)
The marketing site stores two small values in your browser's local storage: a random rotation key used to keep which homepage highlight you see stable between visits, and a first-touch snapshot of campaign parameters (like utm_source or a referral code) so later events stay attributable on our own site. Neither is transmitted to build a profile of you beyond our own pages, and clearing your browser storage removes them.
Edge and security
The site is served through a CDN/edge provider that may set its own strictly necessary security cookies (for example, bot-mitigation tokens) for the interval you are on the site. We do not use them for analytics or advertising.
Managing cookies
You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings at any time. Blocking the session cookie means the workspace cannot keep you signed in, but all public marketing pages work without any cookies at all.
