Privacy Policy

Last updated October 27, 2026. This policy describes how JuriSeek, Inc. ("JuriSeek", "we") handles personal information across our marketing site and platform.

1. Information we collect

Account information. When you create an account we collect your name (if provided) and email address, and authenticate you with a password or a federated identity provider (Google or Apple, if you choose them). Passwords are stored only as salted hashes by the authentication service.

Workspace content. Matters, documents, BriefCases, research sessions, and other content you upload or generate are stored on your organization's behalf and are isolated per organization (tenant isolation). This content belongs to you and your organization.

Inquiry information. If you submit a demo request or contact form, we collect the firm or organization name, contact name, work email, practice area, geography, and message content you provide.

Billing information. Payments are processed by Stripe. We never receive or store full payment card numbers; Stripe provides us subscription status and customer identifiers.

Site analytics. We measure basic, cookieless, first-party page-level events (page viewed, call-to-action clicked) to understand what content is useful. These records contain no account identity, no cross-site identifiers, and no workspace content.

Operational logs. Server logs and audit records of AI operations (who ran what, when, against which matter) exist for security, debugging, and supervision.

2. How we use information

We use personal information to:

  • provide, operate, secure, and improve the platform;
  • process AI operations you initiate (your content is sent to the AI provider configured for the platform solely to generate your requested output);
  • respond to demo requests and inquiries;
  • manage subscriptions and billing through Stripe;
  • send transactional email (verification, receipts, account notices) and, only with your separate consent, marketing communications;
  • detect abuse, enforce rate limits, and maintain security audit trails.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use your workspace content to train AI models.

3. Legal bases (where applicable)

Where the GDPR or similar laws apply: contract performance for providing the service and processing your requests; legitimate interests for security, anti-abuse, and product improvement; consent for marketing email (and any SMS, which is opt-in only) — withdrawable at any time via the unsubscribe link or by contacting us.

4. Sharing

We share data only with processors necessary to run the service: our database and application hosting, the authentication service, our email delivery providers, Stripe for payments, and the AI provider configured for generating responses to your requests. Each receives only what is needed for its function. We may disclose information where required by law, and we will notify you when legally permitted.

5. Retention and deletion

Account and workspace content are retained while your account is active. You can request export or deletion of your account and data by contacting us; we will action requests within a reasonable period and confirm completion, subject to legal retention obligations (e.g., billing records). Marketing analytics records are kept in aggregate-capable form for a bounded period and contain no identity data.

6. Security

We enforce tenant isolation server-side, authorize every API request on the server, rate-limit public endpoints, verify webhook signatures cryptographically, log consequential actions, and keep credentials in server-side secrets that are never exposed to browsers. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure; if a breach affects you, we will notify you as required by applicable law. See our Security page for detail.

7. Your choices and rights

You can access and update account details in the workspace, unsubscribe from marketing email via the one-click link in any message, and reply STOP to any SMS. Subject to applicable law (including GDPR and similar regimes), you may request access, correction, export, restriction, or deletion of your personal information, and object to processing based on legitimate interests.

8. Children

JuriSeek is intended for legal professionals and is not directed to children under 16.

9. Changes and contact

We will post changes to this policy on this page with an updated date, and notify account holders of material changes by email. Questions or requests: use the contact form.
