Terms of Service

Last updated October 27, 2026. These terms govern your use of the JuriSeek platform and website provided by JuriSeek, Inc. ("JuriSeek", "we").

1. The service

JuriSeek is an AI-powered legal intelligence platform. It provides research, case organization and analysis, drafting assistance, citation verification states, and related workflow tooling for legal professionals. The platform assists licensed legal professionals and other users; it is not a law firm and does not provide legal services.

2. Accounts and organizations

You must provide accurate account information and keep your credentials secure. Workspace content is organized per organization; organization administrators control member access and roles. You are responsible for activity under your account and for the accuracy of business information you submit when claiming an organization profile — profile claims are verified before administrative control is granted.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the service to give or automate unauthorized legal advice;
  • upload content you have no right to use, or that unlawfully discloses another person's confidential or personal information;
  • probe, scan, or test the service's security without written authorization;
  • abuse public endpoints, evade rate limits, or submit spam through forms or the public advisor;
  • represent AI-generated content as human-reviewed when it is not, in filings or to clients;
  • use the service in violation of applicable professional-conduct or advertising rules in your jurisdiction.

4. AI outputs and your professional responsibilities

AI-generated content — research syntheses, case analyses, strategy scenarios, and drafts — is decision support. It can be wrong or incomplete. JuriSeek assigns explicit verification states to citations and marks uncertainty, but a “Verified” state reflects the sources available at check time and is not a guarantee of an authority's current validity or subsequent history.

You remain responsible for reviewing AI outputs, verifying authorities, complying with court rules and professional obligations, and exercising professional judgment before relying on or filing anything. JuriSeek does not guarantee case outcomes and outputs are not predictions.

5. Fees and subscriptions

Paid plans are billed through Stripe according to the plan catalog displayed on the pricing page. Subscription fees recur per the billing period shown at checkout; you can manage or cancel subscriptions from the workspace billing area, and cancellation stops future billing. Where online checkout is not yet available for a plan, we will say so and handle upgrades from inside the workspace without charging you.

6. Your content

You retain ownership of content you upload or create in the workspace. You grant JuriSeek the limited right to store, process, and transmit it solely to provide the service, including sending it to the configured AI provider to fulfill your requests. We do not use your workspace content to train AI models. You are responsible for maintaining your own backups beyond the retention the service provides.

7. Intellectual property

The service, including its software, interfaces, and branding, is protected by intellectual-property laws. We may use feedback you provide to improve the service without obligation or attribution to you.

8. Confidentiality of legal matters

Workspace content is tenant-isolated: private to your organization, enforced by server-side authorization. Marketing and growth automation operates on separate business-contact records and has no access to confidential case documents.

9. Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” except as expressly stated. To the maximum extent permitted by law, JuriSeek disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that outputs are complete, correct, or suitable for any particular matter.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or lost profits or data. JuriSeek's aggregate liability arising from the service is limited to the amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

11. Termination

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts for material breach of these terms or to protect the service, other users, or the law, with notice where practicable.

12. General

These terms are governed by the laws applicable at JuriSeek, Inc.'s principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. We may update these terms and will post changes on this page with a new date; material changes to paid subscriptions will be notified in advance. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. Questions: use the contact form on this site.
